Take Notes From A Book
Scenario
A user reads a book and first captures quote snippets, then extracts thoughts from those quotes.
Step 1: Capture Quotes
- The user collects direct quotes from the book.
- Quotes are captured as short snippets and stay unordered at first.
Step 2: Extract Thoughts
- The quotes are then reviewed to extract higher-level thoughts.
Step 3: Connect Thoughts Into Group A
- The thoughts are then connected, if possible.
- These connected thoughts are grouped as "group A".
Step 4: Expand With More Books
- More books are read.
- More thoughts are collected and connected over time.
Step 5: Build A Global Thought Cloud
- All thoughts from all books can now be connected into one large cloud of thoughts.
Benefits
- No more marked sections in books that you never look at again.
- No more dusty notebooks with smart ideas about the book that you no longer use.
- Instead, everything is connected, easily findable, searchable, and connectable.
